WHAT STUDENTS ARE SAYING

"My favorite part of People's Yoga was when we would do these challenging stretches, my body would feel more relaxed, later in the day when it was time to sleep I would actually go to sleep earlier then I used to."
4th grader
“My favorite part about classes with People's Yoga is when we would have a time to ourselves to either close our eyes, or stare at something while breathing in and out to reflect on our actions and choices, which helped me feel at peace with myself.”
5th grader
“My favorite part about classes with People's Yoga was learning new strategies to help me relax and feel calm when I am stressed out, feeling anxious, or even angry. Thanks to these strategies, I have felt more calm lately, learning to focus on myself more, and I can now use these strategies anywhere to help me stay focused and calm/relaxed.”
